Phone call MCP server

Your AI agent has the context. Give it a way to call.

Tuvoz connects your AI agent to a real US phone line. Ask it to check stock, move an appointment or follow up on an order. The voice agent handles the conversation and asks your agent when it needs an answer.

Available for users in the US, Canada and the UK. A US caller ID is used for calls.

Illustrative call walkthrough

A stock check becomes a question.

  1. You approve the task.

Ask the store whether the blue model is available. Do not place an order.

  2. The store offers a different model.

“We have the black one. Would that work?”
  3. Your agent gets the question.

It can answer from your instructions or ask you in chat. If it cannot answer in time, Tuvoz calls your phone.

A scripted example of the workflow. The outcome depends on the call and the authority you give your agent.

Questions about AI phone tools

What is a phone call MCP server?

It gives a compatible AI agent tools for placing and following phone calls through the Model Context Protocol. Tuvoz's voice agent handles the spoken conversation; your agent supplies context and answers questions during the call.

Does every agent use the same setup?

No. Some clients use the hosted MCP connector and Google sign-in, while coding agents can use the Tuvoz skill and CLI. Follow your agent's guide; a server URL alone does not install the skill or complete sign-in.

What happens when the voice agent does not know the answer?

It asks your agent through a backchannel. Your agent can answer from the context and tools you authorized. If it cannot answer or is not watching, Tuvoz calls your verified phone.

Can I host the calling bridge myself?

Yes. The bridge is open source under the MIT license. You provide and pay for the telephony and voice providers, and operate the server. The hosted Tuvoz service handles those operations for you.
