For people who got a call

Did Tuvoz call you?

To stop calls: call Tuvoz's callback number, (628) 386-4393, or the number the call came from, and press 9; text STOP to either; say "don't call again" on a call; or use the form below.

Stop AI calls from Tuvoz to my number

Enter your number and Tuvoz won't call it again, for anyone. You don't need to tell us anything else.

US numbers only. We add it to our do-not-call list right away, whether or not Tuvoz has called it.

How to stop calls

Any of these adds your number to our do-not-call list, and Tuvoz won’t call it again, for anyone:

  • Call Tuvoz’s callback number, (628) 386-4393, or the number the call came from, and press 9. Every Tuvoz call ends by giving the callback number. Neither number takes calls. You’ll hear: “This number is used by Tuvoz AI assistants and can’t take calls. To stop AI calls from Tuvoz, press 9.”
  • Text STOP to either number. The request is saved when the text arrives.
  • Say “don’t call again” on a call, or press 9 during it.
  • Use “Stop AI calls from Tuvoz to my number” on this page. It doesn’t tell you whether Tuvoz ever called the number.
  • Email privacy@tuvoz.io with the number. A person handles email requests within 10 business days.

The first four take effect as soon as the request reaches us.

What Tuvoz is

Tuvoz is a service that lets people’s AI assistants make phone calls for them, for things like booking a table, checking an order or asking a question. A person asks their AI assistant for a call, approves it, and Tuvoz’s voice agent places it.

Every Tuvoz call:

  • starts by saying it’s an AI assistant, whose assistant it is, and what the call is about;
  • asks before recording, and ends the call if you say no;
  • gives Tuvoz’s callback number, (628) 386-4393, when it ends the call;
  • stops calling your number if you ask, or press 9.

The AI never claims to be a person, and never claims to be the person it’s calling for. If it ever did, please report it below.

Why an AI called you

Someone asked their AI assistant to call your number, usually because it’s listed as a business. Tuvoz calls listed businesses, people’s own phones, and people the caller confirmed agreed to AI calls. It doesn’t call unlisted landlines, such as home phones that aren’t listed as a business. It doesn’t make sales, political or fundraising calls. Apart from calls to a user’s own phone, it calls only between 9 AM and 8 PM your time.

We don’t share who placed a call on this page. If a call was harassing, threatening or pretended to be someone, report it and we’ll look into the account behind it.

What we keep

  • If you said no to recording, or hung up before answering: Tuvoz keeps nothing you said. Our AI voice provider processes your words live to run the call and may keep them for a limited time for abuse monitoring, as our Privacy Policy explains.
  • If you said yes: we keep a written transcript of the call. What you said is deleted 30 days after the call, except where the caller’s training setting allows it to be used to train AI, as the question on the call said. If we detect a child on the call, what they said isn’t kept, and the call is never used to train AI.
  • If you asked us not to call again: we keep your number on our do-not-call list, so we keep honoring that.

You can ask us to delete what we have from a call to your number. Write to privacy@tuvoz.io with the number that was called and the date. More detail: Privacy for people we call and our do-not-call policy.
