Privacy for people we call

Version callee-privacy-2026-10-17 · Effective Oct 17, 2026 · Last updated Oct 9, 2026

This notice is for people who receive a call from Tuvoz. Tuvoz is a service run by Deepdive AI Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Tuvoz AI, that lets people’s AI assistants make phone calls for them. The full Privacy Policy has more detail.

Stop calls at any time

Call Tuvoz’s callback number, (628) 386-4393, or the number the call came from, and press 9. You can also text STOP to either number, say “don’t call again” on a call, or use “Stop AI calls from Tuvoz to my number” at tuvoz.io/calls. We add your number to our opt-out list as soon as the request reaches us, and Tuvoz won’t call it again for anyone. You can also email privacy@tuvoz.io with your number; a person handles email requests within 10 business days. Our do-not-call policy has the details.

What happens on a call

  1. The voice agent says it’s an AI assistant, names the person it’s calling for, says it’s calling through Tuvoz, and says what the call is about.
  2. It asks: “Just so you know, Tuvoz records this call, and it may be used to train AI. Other AI companies may get a transcript with names and numbers removed. Is that okay with you?”
  3. If you say no, or don’t give a clear answer after being asked twice, it says goodbye and hangs up. Tuvoz keeps nothing you said. Our AI voice provider processes your words live to run the call and may keep them for a limited time for abuse monitoring, as explained below.
  4. If you say yes, the call continues and what you say from then on is kept as a written transcript.
  5. When the voice agent ends the call, including after a no or a request not to be called, it gives Tuvoz’s callback number, (628) 386-4393. That isn’t the number the call came from. Call it and press 9 to stop AI calls from Tuvoz. If you hang up first, the call just ends.

What you say before answering (for example your reply to the greeting) is used only to run the call, and Tuvoz doesn’t keep it. We keep a short excerpt of your “yes” (up to 200 characters) as proof that you agreed.

While the call happens, its audio passes through our phone provider (Twilio) and our voice provider (Google), including before you answer the recording question. Google may keep it for up to 55 days only for abuse monitoring, and doesn’t use it to train its models. Neither keeps it for Tuvoz.

What we collect

  • Your phone number, and whether it is a business listing, a landline or a mobile.
  • The time and length of the call, and your answer to the recording question.
  • If you agreed to recording: the transcript of what you said, notes the voice agent saved (for example a confirmation number), and questions you asked that it passed on to the person it called for.
  • If you asked not to be called: that request.

We don’t keep call audio, and we never create voiceprints or other biometric identifiers from your voice.

How it’s used

  • To complete the call: the person who asked for the call, and their AI assistant, receive the outcome, notes and, if they ask, the transcript. Their AI assistant’s provider (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Meta) handles that information under its own policies.
  • To keep calls safe: checking our opt-out list, enforcing limits, investigating abuse reports, and proving that the disclosure and the recording question happened.
  • To train AI, as the question on the call said: calls where you agreed may be used to train AI, unless the caller has turned training off. Other AI companies may get only a de-identified transcript, with your name, numbers and other details that identify you removed, and they must agree not to re-identify anyone. We never license your voice, identifiable personal information, or health or financial information, and Tuvoz doesn’t sell personal information. Calls involving health, money or children are left out unless the caller turned on a separate setting, and calls with a child are never used.

How long we keep it

  • What you said: deleted 30 days after the call, except in training records, which are kept until the caller deletes their account or you ask us to delete them.
  • What the voice agent said: up to 5 years, as proof of what it disclosed.
  • Your opt-out request: kept indefinitely, so we keep honoring it.

Your choices

  • Delete what you said: email privacy@tuvoz.io with the number that was called and the date of the call. To protect you, we confirm the request by calling that number. We then delete your words from our records and from training records not yet used in a training run.
  • Find out what we have: same email, same check.
  • Report a problem call: use the form at tuvoz.io/calls or email abuse@tuvoz.io.

We won’t tell you who placed a call through this page, but we act on reports against the account behind it.

Children

If the voice agent realizes it’s talking with a child, it stops keeping what they say, deletes what it already kept, asks for an adult, and ends the call if none comes to the phone. Those calls are never used for training.
