Have your AI agent reschedule an appointment

Move a haircut or other appointment by phone with a clear time window, fee limit and fallback if nothing suitable is available.

Give your agent the existing appointment and the alternatives you can accept. Tuvoz calls the business, asks about availability and checks back when the offered times fall outside your instructions.

Write down the current booking and acceptable replacements

Include the business’s name, its published phone number, the name on the booking, the original date and time, and your preferred replacements. Specify whether the old appointment must stay in place if no replacement works.

Call Studio Nine Salon at (415) 555-0143, using the number on its website. Move Jane Doe’s Saturday 11 AM haircut to Sunday between noon and 3 PM. Keep the same service. If there is no slot in that window, leave Saturday unchanged. Don’t accept a fee; ask me first.

This is a fictional example. Replace the details with your own and review the plain-language plan before saying yes. If the business is in Canada, your agent also checks that it has agreed to AI calls from you.

Set the limits before the call

A cancellation fee, different stylist or longer service can change the decision. Tell your agent which changes are acceptable and which need your answer. Ask it to confirm the replacement before giving up the original slot.

The voice agent can handle a phone menu and ask your agent questions during the call. If the business requires you to complete a step yourself, have it report that step rather than claim the appointment has moved.

Check the confirmation

Afterward, ask for the new date, local time, service, name on the booking, and whether the original slot was cancelled. If no replacement was agreed, the result should say so. Update your calendar only from a confirmed outcome.
