Choose an AI inbound call solution by the work it completes: taking a useful message, confirming an appointment, or getting an exception to the right person. Compare 3 things together: total cost, handling quality, and the context available during a call.

This is Tuvoz’s editorial comparison, checked October 22, 2026. Vendor facts below come from published pricing pages. Recommendations are our assessment of fit, not results from a head-to-head benchmark.

Compare the pricing unit first

Solution Published entry offer Billing unit
Rosie $49/month, 250 minutes Minutes
Goodcall $79/month, 100 unique customers Distinct customers
Smith.ai Free: 25 calls; Pro: $150/month, 75 calls Calls
Retell $0.07–$0.31/minute for voice agents Configured usage
Tuvoz for Small Business Announced: $9.99/month plus usage Subscription plus usage; waitlist access

These are entry offers, not equivalent feature bundles. Check the plan that supports your required actions, its overages, phone charges, implementation work and support. An advertised voice rate alone does not establish your final bill.

A shop with short, infrequent calls has different economics from a property manager receiving repeated, lengthy updates. Count those patterns before picking a plan.

Where Tuvoz stands out on price

Tuvoz’s announced $9.99 monthly base leaves a small fixed commitment before call usage. Usage is 10¢ a minute, billed per second, with a 30-second minimum per answered call leg, including calls to your own phone. The underlying rate is $0.001666 per second; see pricing and billing.

Illustrative monthly connected time Usage at the exact per-second rate Plus $9.99 base
100 minutes $10.00 $19.99
500 minutes $49.98 $59.97
1,000 minutes $99.96 $109.95

Totals use unrounded usage before rounding to cents. These are planning illustrations from the announced offer, before tax, with each call exceeding the minimum. They exclude additional answered call legs and extras. They are not checkout quotes or measured savings.

A lower base can suit a small team starting with overflow. An allowance or caller-based model can become attractive as minutes and repeat calls grow. Tuvoz is not the lowest-cost answer for every workload, and a free pilot can cost less at very small volumes.

What quality means for an inbound call

Use the same test set for every supplier. Include an interrupted name, a corrected address, an unavailable slot, an existing booking, a policy exception, and a system that does not respond.

Score the result rather than the demo’s tone. Did the caller hear an accurate answer? Was the appointment written once? Did the person handling an exception receive enough context? Was a pending request described as pending?

A pleasant voice helps the conversation. Correct state changes and a clear handoff determine whether your staff must redo the work. We have not published comparative voice-quality, latency or booking-success results for Tuvoz.

Why the agentic approach matters

Tuvoz connects a voice agent to the AI agent you already use. The voice agent asks your agent when it needs an answer; if your agent cannot answer, Tuvoz calls you.

That gives you a place to resolve a question using context and tools you have authorized outside the spoken conversation. It also gives you a person to ask when the question exceeds those instructions.

Other tools can have agents, tools and handoff workflows too. Tuvoz’s distinction is its relationship with your existing agent, not a claim that every competing product follows a fixed script. A named calendar, CRM or dispatch integration should be demonstrated before you depend on it.
