Coming soonHow to enable ChatGPT dots to make phone calls
Tuvoz doesn't support ChatGPT dots yet. Dots use plugins installed on your ChatGPT account, and Tuvoz has no plugin or MCP server at launch. What works today instead, as of Oct 8, 2026.

ChatGPT dots can't use Tuvoz yet, so there are no setup steps on this page. We'll update it when it works. For agents that work today, see tuvoz.io/agents.
Why not yet
OpenAI’s dots are always-on agents in ChatGPT, each with its own cloud computer. A dot “can use supported plugins installed and enabled for your account”, and local skills need a connected computer (OpenAI). Tuvoz launched as a skill plus a REST API, which suits agents that run commands or call APIs directly. Supporting dots means shipping a ChatGPT plugin that can place a call and answer the voice agent’s questions while the call is live.
OpenAI’s docs also say you can call your dot from ChatGPT, and that calls started by your dot are “planned for after launch” (OpenAI). That’s a call between you and your dot, not a call to a business.

Limits and caveats
- Not supported yet. There are no install steps for dots.
- Dots use the plugins installed and enabled on your ChatGPT account, and local skills need a connected computer. Tuvoz launched as a skill plus a REST API, without a plugin or MCP server.
- No date yet. Tuvoz will add dots when there's a plugin path that supports placing calls and answering mid-call questions.
